Personal or asset information provided (name, email, address, phone, PIN, VIN, and other asset data) is stored by DotGuard for the purpose of asset identification and proof of owenership.
A customer's personal information or details of any arrangement with DotGuard will not be disclosed to any other person or organization without the express consent of the customer or unless required by law. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence.
DotGuard is committed to maintaining the accuracy of the information on all of our customers. A customer may facilitate access to their registered information either over the phone or by paper statements. If you believe any of your information is incorrect or has changed please notify us immediately via phone or email to update your customer information. However, in order to protect your information we may ask you to verify your identity. Note, in the event that you suspect that someone has illegally or fraudulently gained access to your personal details please contact Dotguard immediately so that an identity alert may be placed on your file for your protection.
Dotguard may elect to send information on new products from time to time. No more that four marketing pieces will be sent per annum by either email or direct mail to any party registered with DotGuard. This list will not be made available to any third party and will remain in strictest of confidence. Customers may opt out of receiving any future emails using opt-out email functionality provided with any email sent.
Customers will be immediately notified via mail or email with any material changes to the privacy policy. At the time of notification, customers may choose to remove personal information due to the privacy policy changes.
